That's a bit harsh isn't it? Sacked because of a simple mistake like that? In an age where we find it hard to get experienced referees through to the top-grade, for the NRL to sack him is a bit far-fetched!

My hope is that he has decided that he prefers to run a line instead, I wouldn't let an incident like that get me down!
