Subject: Wade McKinnon Send Off

Lots has come out from the media in regards to the Wade McKinnon send off in todays Wests v Warriors match. McKinnon was sent off by Paul Simpkins in the 79th minute of todays match for 'kneeing' a Wests opponent.

Video replays have raised doubt over whether or not McKinnon actually hit the player or not, so suddenly Simpkins has become a media 'whipping boy'

However, the way I see it was McKinnon attempted to knee the player, but simply missed and the send off was justified. Also, he had a running battle with Simpkins all match and in the 76th min. after a Wests try, Paul warned him one last time.

I'd like to know what others think, and would appreciate if Mick Stone could reply with the final verdict on whether or not the call was correct.

Was McKinnon:

a) Sent off for kneeing
b) Sent off for attempting to knee the player
c) Sent off for the attempt/and 'harrasing' the referee

Lets not forget this was the bloke who pushed Jason Robinson out of the way earlier this year. I seem to think he dislikes referees!
