I think the answers to your questions raised in your post have been revealed today which clearly verifies that the send off wasn't justified. I think you would have been the only one with that opinion. Even the player on the receiving end said ther was nothing in it.

Re the incident earlier in the year with Jason Robinson...yes, he pushed him but if you review that footage with an unbiased mind you will see that there was no malice involved there either. But he pushed him and thats a no-no and he payed the price of a two week standdown.

I am a kiwi and obviously a big warrior fan and am elated the match review committee interpreted events correctly, however I am also glad that Paul Simpkins has not received any punishment for it as was hinted at by the media. Paul Simpkins, in my opinion has been and still is an outstanding referee. He also has proven to be one of the most fairest referees towards the warriors...this has not often been the case with other refs.
