I did not see the GOLD COAST incident but the play that Justin Hodges did WAS illegal. As the ball was thrown forward not straight up it should have been a deliberate forward pass. The T/J who made the call of 'play-on' admitted he was wrong, and Simpkins obviously went with the call. but it should of been a penalty 10m in line with were Hodges was for a deliberate forward pass.
