Luke, I'm assuming you mean "voluntary" and "shepherd". You're correct on the latter in that the correct term is "obstruction". However there is such a thing as a "voluntary tackle" as defined in the Glossary of the Laws of the Game. It is "where the player in possession voluntarily stops play when not effectively tackled." See also s11.4 of the Laws of the Game (you can find a link to them on the ARLRA home page).
