But who knows? :-) My scenes were supposed to be the comic relief of the film. I played a Victorian housewife whose husband is given to erotic fantasies of young ladies. I am quite prim and proper. Only about ten seconds of these scenes were left and are shown on the kinescope Dracula watches. The filming was very interesting. We had an antique camera filming as well as the modern equipment. My hives came some years after the shooting of Dracula. My TS and I think it is due to a cleaning solvent I used without wearing gloves. We believe it got into my bloodstream. The specialist told me there was no real no cause for chronic hives. It goes beyond allergies. Most people think it is due to nerves, but it is not. Of course, nerves can aggravate any condition. Stress can make any ailment worse. There are various types of chronic hives. Some people are worse during cold whereas others suffer more from heat. Pressure is a very common cause of an outbreak for someone with chronic hives. It is a very horrible condition and can be very dangerous. I went to the emergency room a couple of times. There are two types of hives. One type is on the surface of the skin and itches madly. The other kind is underneath the skin and is worse. The danger of the condition comes in the swelling of the lips and throat. The throat swelling can be life-threatening. My lips swoll a lot, but my throat never did. I went to the emergency room, because the lip and throat swelling usually go together. Another part of the condition is the effect it has the the hypothalmus. As the doctor put it, my temperature regulator was out of whack. I would feel the cold you feel when you have the chills without it being cold outside or having the flu or a cold. My thighs would turn a very deep purple and blue. I was on a prescription antihistamine and prednizone for over a year. It is interesting you should mention the vitamin B complex. The physician told me Niacin aggravates the condition. At the time I was going through all this, I could not take any form of acidity. I am very happy to say, I have had no hives for over two years now. YEAH! There is a site for people with the condition. I know what you mean when you say TCM treats the whole person. That is what I love about it. The place I went to for acupuncture in SIngapore is a very spiritual place. They have a statue of Kwan Yin the place where you receive the acupuncture.
