Time, space, and reality tore itself into bits as Jin blinked and was transported back to Neo Hogoromo. His wings stopped their flapping, he landed on the ground, and they folded around him like a cloak. He remained completely bewildered at the immidiate event that took place.
Before he was able to even react to what has happen, nor even try to bring the situation to any form of comprehension, he is stunned from the fact that immidiatly after teleporting, Lashana and him are confronted by a demon, beholding a small child. He grinned his teeth slightly, angered at the fact that they would attack him while he's down, but this demon didn't show any signs of hostility, as naive as Jin is, he let his guard down.
As the demon spoke, Jin's eyes locked onto the child. He couldn't beleive what he was hearing, but then again, this day has been a flood of information to begin with that wasn't appealing to the mind. By the look on the girl's face, he was able to see her fear, her sadness, she knew that her caretaker was to leave her behind.
He looked back up to the demon, without the slightest knowledge of what he could say to make this situation any better. As she left, he gave her at least some small words of encouragement.
"Don't worry, Onimaru will pay for all of his sins...and good deeds are never forgotten."
He knew that she must've heard it to the last bitter word before she left, there was so much more he wanted to say, so much more he wanted to ask, but it was too late now.
Now Lashana and him were alone, with a child that was born into the world without love. He didn't know what to say, or do. All he knew is that if Onimaru isn't stopped, events much worst than this will unfold. He walked up to Lashana to try to comfort her, placing one hand over her shoulder, speaking as soft as he can, hoping that the girl could feel more at home.
"After resting...we need to continue onward..."
He was still weak, but he will not fret on this journey, no matter what. He could be missing limbs and he will always press onward. That's when energy began to flow into him mysteriously, but he recognized the energy signal, Lashana was restoring him a little bit. The energy felt good, and he was releived to know that Lashana wasn't afected by the loss at all.
Now they have to plan their next move, but rest is still needed. He knows that Lashana feels somewhat uncomfortable with her own daughter, so he tries to loosen the situation up a bit.
"Thanks for the energy, but we still need some time to rest. We will spend the night here, and plan our next move at Sunrise. At any rate, we could make your daughter feel more at home, make her feel comfortable." His hand removes from her should and he walks infront of Lashana and smiles, hopefully breaking the ice.
