Mike before you start getting too deep with the points that I raised, it might be a good idea if you answered anonymous's point first. Without having dealt with his points this diologue is a bit meaningless.
"Until that time they would be a Christian meeting and not a Church". Come off it Mike!
I am sorry to say leadership should be a skill in the Church as in any other organisation. The only difference being that it should be a spirit driven skill. A gift that is developed with Gods help. "What so ever you do do it to the Glory of God". THAT CAN INCLUDE LEADERSHIP.
Now taking the lead is a part of leadership, but only a part. Being able to finish what one has started is what leadership is about. History is full of examples of unfinished business.
Last friday I went to an underground illegal meeting.
"A worship service'. For obvious reasons I am not going to go into details. This was a church, not a christian meeting, I think it is a disservice to think of it as that.
"Where two or three are gathered together in my name I am in their midst" Knowing the conditions such bodies exist under, I think your legalistic demands will make it more difficult for them to survive.
Mike I think the view of the church that you are presenting is one from a wealthy country where there are resources available. Gods Church is probably everywhere. I expect it is also there in Mongolia
The one that I am looking at is the grain of mustard variety. You know what, God loves it also. It took me one whole year living here to learn about it and gain access and I still dont know if I will be able to go again. Sorry I am not publishing details to be read by anyone. Send me your email address and I might be more forthcoming. (only might)
