On somewhat different topic you mention the social welfare benefits of Europe. But how long will Europe be able to afford these programs? The native populations of major European countries are in decline. Something has to give, either higher taxes or less benefits. Are the good times over in Europe?

They are definitely over. Germany is bankrupt. Starting next year, there will be drastic changes in our social program (google buzzwords: Harz 4, Arbeitslosengeld 2). Here are some of the reasons for the decline:

- globalization
- shrinking population, too many old people, too few young people
- too many young people who are unqualified in every sense
- egoisting "single" or "dink" (double income no kids) way of living
- overall increasing decadence and egoism
- decreasing moral values and ethics
- people have no norms and orientation
- overfeeding with violence, sex, and immorality
in TV, Internet, printing press, video games etc.
- decreasing literacy and education of people
- inefficient education system ("Pisa survey")
- overall bad politics of both conservatives and social democrats

But I think that's symptomatic for what happens overall in the world. Maybe in Germany it is particularly extreme.
