(She huddled under her blanket, watching him as he wove his spirit and filled the air with soft music. It was all the more magical to her because it was something new and unexplained. Her lips curved into a sweet smile as he touched her cheek, and she pressed her soft skin into his fingers lightly, letting him know that the touch was both appreciated and encouraged. She craved touch from him, it was as essential to her as speech, it cemented their intimacy. As he laid back on the blanket, she too decided to curl up, and stretched out on her side beside him. She lay her head on his shoulder and a palm against his chest, using her magyck to pull the blanket over her. Her breath misted lightly in the cool night air, but she wasn't as cold now that she was pressed against Kaden. She thought about what she wanted in a mate, though there were several quite obvious desires she had.) He has to be strong, and nay just physically.. but emotionally and, well, passionately as well. I will settle for nae less than the strongest male I can find. He has to be able to protect me, and our future family. (She would also grow to be an aggressive lover, who would grow to appreciate an even more aggressive male, one who could show her how to appreciate gentleness even while taking advantage of her passion. She wouldn't tolerate a male that couldn't make his own decisions, nor would she tolerate a male that could not control his temper with her. They would fight, love and live together with a fiery passion.. or not at all.) He must ken how to show a female due respect, and even possess the will to learn to love his mate.. for if I am nae to be truemated, I will nae settle for a loveless bond. (Her desires sounded impossible.. but she had a strong heart, and would only be truly happy if her needs were met.) He must want bairns.. but that can nae be the only reason he desires a mate. I wish to be a partner, nae a broodmare or bondservent. (She never once mentioned looks or monetary worth.. for those weren't prerequisites for her love. Her way of thinking was more along the line of the old females.. long before the times of the modern fragile females. She desired strength and love, not money and power. She would not be in a harem, for she did not compete for one males love.. she let them compete for hers.)
