If he had not had a plan to change the whole side around just after half time we would have convincinly beaten teams, not just sneeked home or even lost. I am all for blooding players, but not all at once. This happened on numerous occassions and was in my opinion why we lost the league in the end. We were by far the best club. I agree with hs comments about clubs not interested in going up butjust want to stay in the league and collect the money from the WRU. How often do you see these clubs off load there players that are on a big wage when their status is safe. The end of the season was a farce in reality. I am not trying to take anything away from Pooler or Aberavon but there s someting wrong when Whitland beat us at the start of the season then we put 80 points on them. Anyway next season I reckon with squad weended this season with we should walk it because now we have the attitude to do it, that has been missing at the park for a long time. We need to invest though in an outside/full back as back up to Byron. Stuart Lawrence just is not pacey enough. We has have to play the hooker Chris Thomas and ensure Gareth Taylor stays with us. Stuart is a great asset to the club and a talented player. Yes he makes mistakes but he is always trying to make something happen. He has played excellently out of position at full-back and is a good club-man. Who can forget his clean take of that high ball under tremendous pressure right at the start of the Swansea match. Yes he is a good clubman, but so is the the man pulling the pints in the bar! Byron is twice as quick - open your eyes. We need to be honest if we want premiership rugby here.
