I know he wants to play at the highest level of welsh rugby but I think he would better himself by staying at Pooler for another season. I would just like to thank all the fans that have supported me through my two seasons at POOLER. I would like to think that i have tried my best in every game and when players get tired you often give us that extra boost. I'm gutted thta i wont be playing premiership rugby with pontypool but i feel that the time is right to see if i can make that next step up, and yes if i cant make it as some on here feel i would love to return. Ihave many friends now in pontypool especially the local players whom i played youth with and i will be up to watch when ever i can. Good luck for next season and see you at the dinner or in the near future. Cheers Mike Powell

As a Pooler fan living in Bridgend though, I can guarantee you're going to miss the passionate support you're used to, there seems to be a fairly apathetic support for Bridgend in the town...nice ground though!!!
