I was quite optimistic that we had done enough before last night but I have a sneeky feeling that Aberavon will do it on Sat. Whilst this is a hugely disappointing prospect we must be proud of the team for their fantastic efforts this term. Pontypool's teams of the past would have been proud of the way went about the 32 games this year. We all know that pooler are one of the biggest names in rugby and surely deserve a lot better than we rae getting from the WRU at the moment. Fair play to Aberavon they are in the same boat and they deserve to be up there with us! The Scottish sides offered nothing and brought insignificant crowds to the likes of Cardiff, Bridgend, Llanelli. What we would offered eh!?

Fingers crossed and lets hope Dunvant have an element of pride - relegated or not they are still rugby players aren't they?
