Not only do we have players earning far more than other 1st div players but we have many earning far more than they could earn in the premiership.The old man Mark Jones has been a waste of the vast amount of money he gets paid.I was told at Tondu last night that on average the Aberavon squad receive £25 appearence money and £25 win bonus and extra £100 if they win the league. However, don't be fooled by people claiming that Aberavon are poorly paid. Their average payments are less than the Pooler players I'm sure, but many of them receive excellent financial incentives and they are probably the next best paid team in the division. I do agree though that anything less than promotion for Pooler must be deemed failure following an expensive close-season for Bob Jude! But what you've said about Mark Jones is wrong. Since he took over as captain he has been the insoeration in the side and we play far better with him on the park - he continualy drives the side on. I say thank you Mark for helping to make this one of the most enjoyable seasons since the Bish and Ring show.
