Subject: Note for the Texas office

The New Texas site will be up soon everything is being revised it looks wonderful. It will be uploaded in about a week. The web designer is doing a fine job. I think everyone will be pleased with the changes. It’s a bit fancy but that’s how we do thing’s here in Texas.

If you are a current delegate at large or a previous delegate and have pictures of your events please send them to me at Debbie@misstexasgalaxy.com we have added a new area called “The Stars over Texas” it’s the Texas Queens visibility page.

Personally I’m crazy about pictures if you have ever seen our pageant scrapbook it’s over 1000 pages. It would thrill me to have to buy more web space because our Texas girls had it all filled up.

Look for our ads currently running in Supermodel magazine, Pageantry magazine, there is a full page running in every addition of TFTJ, coming very soon you will see Texas Galaxy on the front page of the TFTJ web site we have placement for a full year for all of the above. I’m looking at doing the Val-Pak coupons again this year. I’m open to any new advertising ideas. I am considering some type of scholarship given to the ONE delegate that produces the most print and photo viability. I would love to see signs or pictures of signs everywhere that said you could be our next Miss (Local Title) or Teen, Miss, Ms or Mrs. Texas www.misstexasgalaxy.com and one of our girls standing next to it. Would I post that picture? You bet I would.

My ultimate desire is to one day soon be able to have your program book online for your sponsors to be able to get the exposure they deserve. I don’t know how hard it will be but it is on my web site wish list. Believe me, this is only the beginning I have so many things working to make this next years pageant even better than the first.

I know everyone wants to know who our new directors are and I will be posting that in the next few weeks. I am still looking for directors in different areas but I do want them to hold a prelim, so if you or someone you know would make a great director please let me know. Our current Queens are almost scared to death to come on this message board to visit with their pageant sisters for fear of being bashed. Please help them to feel welcome. Everyone should be able to speak openly without fear of ugly things being posted. I would like to see a lot more people speaking up. But when you speak out I also believe you should sign your name. No one should post anything they would not want to sign their name to. This is just my personal belief.

As you must know the huge number of emails and phone calls coming into the Texas Galaxy office is sometime a bit overwhelming but I do my best to get back to everyone in the order received. So if I have not called you back, I will just as soon as possible.

Will the web address be the same? "The Stars over Texas" will be a wonderful addition to the web page. . . great idea!

It saddens me that our Texas Galaxy queens are frightened to post on this message board. I freuquently read/post on this board and all I've noticed is everyone wants to hear from the girls and wants to see pictures of them. These girls are in the hearts of many and everyone wishes them the best. Mallory/Natalie/Dagmar & Prelim Queens, please feel free to let everyone know what is going on your lives, share your appearance photos with us. If bashing does occur, please just ignore it!
