Time is rapidly running out. If you were waiting for the last minute, here it is! We need to pay IN FULL for the Dinner Cruise by Friday. If you are going, but haven't signed up, or did sign up and haven't sent your money, you NEED to call me ASAP - 541-571-4462.

If you are forgoing the Dinner Cruise, but will be coming to the Saturday & Sunday events, you still need to call me. We need to make sure there will be enough food & fun for everyone. :-)

If you are not coming to any of our wonderful events, :-( , you need to make sure that Robert has your Memory Questionnaire. We want to hear from all of you. If you need one of the Questionnaires, contact Robert or myself and we will get one to you.

Dear Classmate/Teacher/Parent of KHS Class of 1986:

I can not stress enough how important it is that you respond to this letter. We have room on the DINNER CRUISE for 6 more people. We really need to fill those slots, or we will have to share our boat with interlopers! And we can�t have that!! I�ve heard rumors that some people don�t want to come to the reunion, or they don�t want to ride on a boat, and any number of other things. I don�t know about you, but I had a great time in high school. I DO want to see all of you. I guess I�m just sappy, but I do miss all of you. The dinner cruise is the perfect opportunity to do something fun that the L-C Valley offers. The boat pilots and the boats themselves are Coast Guard certified for skill and safety. I�ve never heard of any problems with any of those boats. They are big, roomy boats, and even have a bathroom on board. Besides all that, the FOOD is most excellent! :-d I need the $61.50 per person as soon as possible. Kids are welcome also; I�m bringing mine.

If you are going to come to one or both of the events on Saturday and Sunday, we need to know as soon as possible. The cooks and other help need the head-counts to make sure there is enough food to go around.

Some may not realize, but all events are open to all Classmates, Teachers, & Parents. If any of you Teachers & Parents would like to come on the Dinner Cruise, you are more than welcome! The more the merrier!!!

PLEASE get Robert your information for the memory book. ESPECIALLY if you are not coming to the reunion. Photos would be great too. You can email him if you don�t have your form anymore at robjon18@yahoo.com. This is for Teachers & Parents too!

Hello,
We are trying to get things lined out for the reunion. If you have already sent in your RSVP...THANK YOU!!! Those of you that haven't, you really need to get on it. The dinner cruise needs to be finalized by early May. We need to figure out head counts on our other activities. See Jenifer's email below. It is imperative that you contact one of us a soon as possible regarding the reunion and your attendance, or lack there of. Please get back to me ASAP.

So far, we have the following headcounts on our activities. I'm pretty disappointed with the response we've been getting. Only get one chance at a twenty year reunion. Several of us are working hard to make it a great experience for all involved. Hope you will at least take the time to let us know if you are coming or not and to get your info back to Robert for the Memory Book.

Dear Classmate/Teacher/Parent of KHS Class of 1986:

DINNER CRUISE: The deadline for the Dinner Cruise deposit has come and gone, twice. The deposit was only $15.00 per person. Now we are close enough to the departure date, we will need your payment in full: $60.50 per person, children $31.00. If you have any questions about Beamers Hells Canyon Tours, I have brochures and a video. I have also taken the dinner cruise myself on a reunion test-run. It was excellent. You can email or call me if you have questions or if you want a brochure or borrow the video. Thank you to those few of you that have already responded promptly!

KENDRICK DAY/SUNDAY PIZZA: We don�t have a price for the Saturday activities yet. WE NEED A HEAD COUNT. Once we know how many will be there, we can figure a cost for food, etc. Sunday Brunch at the Pizza Bank will be on-your-own/pay-as-you-go. BUT, we do need a HEADCOUNT for Zana so she can be prepared for us. SEND IN YOUR RSVP�s ASAP!!! :-)

DOOR PRIZES: We will be giving out door prizes if we can get some donated. If you own a business, and you have something you can bring, it would be greatly appreciated. It doesn�t have to be anything extravagant. Or if you work for someone else and can get them to donate something, that would be great too. If you are one of the few not coming to the reunion for some lame reason, you are more than welcome to send a door prize anyway, and credit will be given where it�s due. :-) It doesn�t have to be something from your job. If you are one of those irritating crafty people that makes things, go for it! The earlier we can get these lined up, the better. We would like to have some strategery when doing the drawings.

MEMORY BOOK: Robert still has gotten only a few back. PLEASE get them to him ASAP.

Date approximate, fuzzy mammaries, you know.

Us "locals" had a little get together over the weekend to try to start some concrete planning. I'll outline what we came up with. If you have questions, comments, scheduling conflicts, we need to know ASAP. There is no way possible to resolve all scheduling conflicts, even for our small class. But, hopefully, with 8 months notice, we can all be there. With bells on!!! :-)

We have tentatively decided on these dates:
June 30th - July 2nd, 2006 (Fri - Sun) or
July 1st - July 3rd, 2006 (Sat - Mon)
We thought a holiday weekend might work best, and give people more time to travel to/from the reunion. It may be hard to get airplane tickets (speaking as a former travel agent) over holidays, so start planning now!

1st day: People will be arriving from out of town. In the evening we will do a dinner cruise up the Snake River. It is a VERY nice trip. I did one this summer, mostly to see if it would work for us as a reunion activity. I thought it was pretty cool! If that counts for anything! It's about 1 1/2 hours up, get off the boat, eat prime rib and/or salmon/steelhead, then take the boat back. Lots of interesting info during the trip. It will run $50-55 per person.

2nd day: Lunch at KHS with Mrs. Parsley, Grandma Helen (Fey) Heidenreich, and Mrs. Thornton cooking - just like when we were in school!!! Remember, the students at KHS actually LIKED their school lunches! We have an "in" on the school board that makes all this possible. We also discussed taking a school bus out for a spin with Judy Foster driving, but that was never really yayed or nayed. I don't know what else everyone wants to do in the afternoon/evening. We could meet at the KHS Park, maybe reserve the pool for an evening swim party with the kids and all. Catching what I'm throwing?

3rd Day: Thought we'd have a "Sunday Brunch" at 9 or 10 am. That will give people leaving town the chance to leave at a decent time. Those that want to stay longer can and maybe we'll plan something to do.

We also decided to invite some teachers and any former classmates that didn't actually graduate at KHS. If you have contact info for anyone that went to school with us, but moved before graduating with us, please forward this info on to them, or have them signup on Classmates under KHS or Juliaetta Elementary.
