Just thought of something else ...

At BGR, I carried some basic first aid type items for use of the company. It doesn't have to be a full blown first aid kit, but a few pieces of moleskin, some anti-biotic ointment and OTC meds might keep someone from "hitting the wall" when they otherwise might give up. Logistically, you might be saving the event guys a problem.

If at least one sergeant carries something for the company, it will help. If each corporal carried a small amount if things, it spreads it around and gets it to the guys who need it faster. Company commanders should get their NCOs to work this out prior to the event.
