(He frowned as he watched Haylie leave the room, anger welling up inside him as his gaze shifted back to Courtney. He knew that she was in no way trying to get him into trouble with his girl, she hadn't known about Haylie.. but at the same time it just pissed him off that she was so quick to assume that he was still single and willing to just let her crawl back into his bed after all these years. He might have been pathetic like that back then.. but not now. Before he had a chance to watch the remaining introductions, he excused himself and followed Haylie out onto the patio, closing the door behind him.) Hey. (He said softly, sort of testing the waters.. he honestly didnt think he had done anything wrong.. besides being a little blunt about being her boyfriend in front of the incredible hulk in there.. but that was pretty minor in his mind.) Sorry about her.. she was a long time ago and I never thought I'd see her again. (She smiled at the southern charm, any girl would be flattered silly by his behavior.. and though she wasn't just any girl, she was affected all the same.) It definitely could be, Major. (She said back softly, lettning her eyes wander over him for a moment before she stepped back a little to allow the men to finish their business. Even with the good looking back to distract her, she still wanted to get her business done so she could get back to looking for an apartment in the area.) (He felt like the ring leader in a three ring circus.. this place was nuts! He was starting to get a bit of a headache from it all, so he had quieted down and crossed his arms over his chest. He smiled at Braden when he turned to him and nodded.) You know where to find me. (He said with a wry smile.. he would be at the apartment for a while now that he was on paternity leave.. though besides work he really had no complaints about it.)
