In the usual Shay fashion, she had shown up exactly seventeen minutes after the news had been let out that Haylie's water had broken. Never one to waste anytime, she had just walked out of the meeting she was in and went straight to the apartment to collect her friend. Just as she had suspected, Haylie was in the shower and Shay - having no shyness whatsoever - just walked into the bathroom and turned off the spray, raising a brow. "Let's go. I am not delivering a baby in my house." She stated firmly, not allowing any objections. They were on their way to the hospital when a tough contraction hit Haylie and she was crying out, her eyes closed against the pain. When it faded, she shook her head, her brow furrowed as she realized they were at the hospital and Remy was opening the door for her. Gazing up at the large man in front of her, she let out a disgruntled breath and let him help her out of the car. "You ever notice that Kyrian is never here for the big moments? Wedding, birth, I bet when I die he will be off in a bar in bermuda getting drunk. He's probably drinking right now. Partying it up with some friends." Her eyes drifted to Shay and she smiled just a touch, shrugging her shoulders. "But you guys will be there. You are always there. Remy, you want his place in the room? Cuz you can have it. Just make sure you don't look at my..." She looked at Shay, shrugging and then laughing when Shay offered up 'hoo-haa'. "Yes, don't look at my hoo-haa. It won't be pretty." With that statement thrown out there, she was escorted into a wheelchair and pushed into the lobby to get checked into the hospital...
