I'm afraid my answer is no. We were once part of their world but and we would like nothing more than harmony. But imagine finding out that there are creatures out there whose only means of sustenance require feeding off of YOUR blood, leaving you a lifeless corpse. Yeah, that's going to go well. there would probably be chaos if it ever came out that we existed.
