10 (licensed? and safe!) carts at $1000 = $10,000
10 "drivers" at $50/day x 100 summer days = $50,000

TOTAL COST = $70,000

Average donation per ride = $2?

Now let's see, that's 35,000 rides in 100 days, or a mere 350 rides each day. Every day. All summer. Er....

An analysis of the "zip car" project gives similar results.

One taxi wasn't viable. Why should several taxis in disguise be any different?
