Oh, I agree. Though let me say, after spending a couple Chicago winters, the temps up here are even more intolerable. We have regular temps at 40 below with windchill (and sometimes it plummets that low without). Add the ice and feet upon feet of snow, and it's depressing. My winter activities include drinking and ice fishing lol. Oh, and a little cross country skiing when I can. I live my life for summer, and I will say that the beauty of northern Wisco in the summer makes up for it's shitty winters (Chaos and I have sailor mouths, no worries. Baha. We just try to keep it PG in the chat box. IMs and Facebook are fair game lol).

My 13-14 year old self was OBSESSED with Gone in 60 Seconds/Fast & The Furious, so yeah...totally drew my inspiration from that and just kinda ran with it. Didn't have the heart to change them around after said obsession dissipated (funny how our tastes change when we get older...now it's old Mopar muscle and jacked up Fords that get my attention).

I LOVE that you have decided to take a chance on us! So happy! :D There is an application in each section for joining, but it is very lax and does not need to be 'approved' before you start playing. I have been admittedly naughty and have not even joined my last few charries >.< Shhhhh. Judging from the type of character you are describing that you want to create, I would throw your app in the in 'Oddies' section (supernatural creatures of any kind belong there). They are still free to roam the Human section though, and most do. I would just make it a basic app, just something to help you flesh out your character for you own benefit. I feel biographies help me gain a little more attachment and bigger feel for my creation. Sometimes it's hard for me to settle on the details, sometimes the character just starts talking and I do the typing (Example: Kip lol). It is a big change to get into a looser role play, but no worries. There are no hard and fast rules here, and you aren't going to cross a line. (Again...see Kip. lol). You can create whatever and whoever you want, and the plot to go with it. And you are right. You can hit me up by email at anytime with questions. My phone is a permanent attachment of my hand most days unless I am poking around the woods.

We kinda always played it like Supernaturals were attracted to CM because it was city nestled away in the mountains, so there was lots of room to roam and find others of their kind. That's the feel I always got of it anyway. And it is totally ok to make NPC charries, we use them frequently to bring a plot along.

Your second link did work just fine, and I do love your writing style! I also find your plot to be very interesting, and I think that could definitely be something I could work with! I don't have a whole lot of supernaturals in my reserve, but am willing to bring in one of the 5 I played in the dead game I told you about if you are interested. Little bit about the boys:

Ruarc: Very old shifter, born before the great war in Ireland. He was born human and very poor. When he was in his teens he joined the ranks of the Irish military and fought for his country. While he was gone his parents were murdered and his sister was taken to be sold into slavery. He managed to rescue her, but she was near death and he was mortally wounded in the fight to get her back. They were visited by a pair of scorpion shifters and saved from death when they were infected with the shifting ability. Ruarc blames himself for what happened to his sister, and has tried to integrate himself into society as much as possible because he is ashamed of his animal half. When he's in shifter form, he loses all control...he completely becomes the scorpion...and a BIG one at that. So to keep from hurting people, he never gets close to anyone.

Rhett: Rhett is a half shifter born in the 1800's. His mother was promiscuous and had an affair with his lion-shifter father. Rhett was born privileged and is a complete ladies man. He is goofy and lazy, ridiculously handsome and utterly rich. Shifting is a horribly painful experience for him for some reason, and he mutates into something horrific. He likes to live his single life, partying around and charming women.

I have 3 ladies on reserve as well, can tell you about them if you're interested.

Otherwise, if you like the looks of Ruger, you can jump in with him. He has a bit of a vengeance against supernatural critters, as a vampire bit his fiance. Her transformation failed though, and he was forced to put her out of her misery...so yeah, he's got some rage issues there lol.

Again, I'm so glad you decided to hang with us! And HAPPY HAPPY WEDDING DAY! Enjoy it, it goes so fast! (Been married three years now, still feels like I met him yesterday and we starting dating almost 8 1/2 years ago!).
