I think that Dwight Eisenhower's most significant foreign policy action was the Eisenhower Doctrine. The Eisenhower Doctrine was a message given to the United States Congress saying that the United States would use armed forces to respond to communism. And it stated that the United States would also help foreign countries who were trying to resist communism by giving them aid in different ways. The Eisenhower Doctrine allowed us to help European countries, while still instilling our democracy in their countries therefore getting rid of communism.
