If I compare the course of the standard examination at the gynecologist with the one at the camp so much different, it was more detailed. The first change was that my legs were much further apart with my knees bent almost to my head. This position was already quite uncomfortable and I felt a tension in my hips. They took many photographs during the examination. Another difference was the introduction of a large number of instruments that were larger than normal. They opened my vagina very wide, and some of them were in a lot of pain despite using a special gel. The doctor first examined me manually, took a large number of swabs, measured all the details of my vagina, including its depth. Then they introduced me to different probes starting with ultrasound, then they introduced me to a probe with a camera, and then a probe that vibrated and slowly increased its diameter. He examined my rectum in great detail again not only with his fingers, but also using various instruments, including ultrasound. Then he simultaneously inserted his fingers into my vagina and into my rectum.
The boy was also examined in a gynecological chair. First, they felt their penis and testicles thoroughly, repeatedly pulled their foreskin until erect, and then introduced a camera probe into their urethra and rectum. They were also examined by ultrasound. During the examination, fluid was injected into their scrotum.
After I got back from camp, I went to the school doctor every Monday for about a quarter of a year. He was inserting an ointment catheter into my urethra and a larger-diameter cylinder into my vagina. It was very compressive in both the urethra and the vagina. Even the boys had regular check-ups after camp was over.
At home, my parents saw to it that I took the temperature in my mouth, vagina, and rectum in the morning and evening, and that I handed over the temperature book to the school doctor. Every Saturday, my parents would flush my vagina and anus with a special solution. At the time of my incontinence problem, I was lent a machine with probes that I had inserted into my vagina and rectum.
I know my older brother had a special ointment probe inserted into his penis every night.
