Thank you

I have got more of your story by one of my polls. I copy iy all with comments here:

I am male. When I was 13 I had my appendix removed. At 14 I was supposed to have my tonsils removed but the surgery was cancelled on the day of the surgery, I was already prepared for it in a gown with a cap on and an IV, later when I was 16 it was done because my doctor complained that it hadn't been done when it should have been done.

During the initial exam they found out that my abdominal organs were reversed they had originally thought that I had injured my splean because of my appendix being on my left instead of my right side.

The procedure occured at a health center. The procedure happened in a hospital. Emergency appendectomy and for my tonsils. I had strep throat a lot .

I was 13 for the appendix surgery, I was feeling sick at school and I got sent to the nurses office when I got there she asked me where it hurt and she was concerned it was my appendix so she had them call my mom and an ambulance.

My mom brought me for my tonsillectomy. For my tonsillectomy the first time I came in with my mom and we waited for most of the day before we even saw the doctor who cancelled my surgery. I ended up getting McDonald's instead. We were kind of upset and mad at the doctor for canceling my tonsillectomy.

For my second time having my tonsils removed I was seen right away by the doctor and told when I would be taken to the operating room. I was the third patient that day behind two other boys who were 10 and 12. My mom brought me in for that.

SYMPTOMS AFTER THE PROCEDURES

I had pain, irritition or other problems in my mouth. I had pain, irritation or other problems in my respiratory tract or lungs. I had pain, irritation or other problems in my urethra or bladder. Just my throat hurting after both surgeries and my underwear got misplaced during my tonsillectomy.

PREPARATIONS AND ANESTHESIA

When I was in for my tonsillectomy for the first time they did a good test twice because the first time they had a problem with it.

I was given sedative medicines through my mouth. I was given medication intravenously. They gave me gas through a mask. They put a mask on me and injected me with something in the IV I had.

Not that I can remember.

ARRANGEMENTS AFTER THE PROCEDURES

I had IVs, but I don't remember what they were most of them were either a clear fluid or something milky. After my appendix surgery I had a mask on.

After my tonsillectomy I had a breathing tube I was told that the anastiologist that I had for that likes to keep it in until the patient is alert and awake. After my appendix surgery I had catheter, for my tonsillectomy not that I can recall. Heart monitor and blood pressure monitor and the little red light thing on my finger to monitor my breathing. Normal exams. I was asleep for the whole time for both surgeries.

COMMENTS

Reversed organs happens sometimes. If they are reversed in a regular way, they do not cause any problems, but that is not always the case.

The doctor that had scheduled tonsillectomy the first time seemed to have bad working standards.

Apart from that this seemed to be normal procedures. That the underwear had been messed up after the tonsilectomy, shows that it had been taken off so that they could do something in his pelvic area.

The simplest explanation i that they placed electrodes at the lower body parts. Possibly they also inserted a catheter that they took out again before he woke up.

But the problems in bladder or urethra suggest something more was done. They possibly also looked into his bladder with a systoscope and up into his kidneys during the time under anesthesia. The reason could be to find out if the reversed organs caused a problem in his urinary system.

By the way, it could be interesting to know some more about your exams before the surgeries.
