What I learned from this pageant are girls are being used for their knowledge and social skills, and as a network to spread and promote Miss. Asia USA but at the end its all about the money. What kind of pageant award Miss. Community (was not even announce on stage but was in the magazine) Miss Courage, Miss popularity..etc all special awards and have no money as a title holder but a dumb fake crystal plaque.

If anybody have noticed the Miss. Asia USA Magazine all of the delegates who placed in Top 5, made it that far because they have the money to invested in buying the front folded cover of the ad worth $5,000 and back covered Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam brought $3,000 or more worth of ad. They all made it to the Top 5. Is this how judges are making their decision on is now have become nothing, more than selfish production and unfair, immoral decision making!! I hope Virgelia's production image will be destroy in her very eyes!!

When the pageant ended I bought the magazine right when I open the book, I knew right away why Miss Korea won and how all the top 10 made it. 9 out of 10 of them had more than 4 ads. It's so rigged!!!

OH PLEASE! If this is the worst decision of your life then you are doing pretty good and I wish I was YOU!

This is just a pageant. You must have shown some improvement somewhere. More self-confidence? How to stand, walk, interview skills? You did not make any progress anywhere from being part of this pageant?

Did you not learn more about your culture and other cultures as well?

Oh For Heaven Sakes!

You participated in a Pageant and one that has been around for 20 years! Virgelia does not need you to spread the word about Miss Asia USA! Everybody already knows about it.

You participating in this pageant and going to all the community events, fundraisers for Charity and participating in a glamourous fashion show at a historical hotel was a way for you to gain experience, network and meet people who might be able to help you in your career. Or just be a part of the community promoting the Asian Woman.

In Regards To The Awards:
Its a shame you think that you need to get money in order for an award to mean something. There are many awards given where there is no cash prize including the Presidential Award from the President of the United States.

The Mayor of Glendale awarded a girl in a pageant an award with his signature that said "Most Promising Future." She had it framed and lists it on her resume for jobs.

Try telling Miss Japan who has cancer and recieved the "Miss Courage Award" at the pageant that it did not mean that much and her crystal plaque was "dumb!"
