Subject: I know many do it, but it is against PayPal policy to sell/buy goods and pay by gift/friends and family payment, as this gives the buyer no ...inside...

protection and they will not be covered by PayPal's buyer protection. Having said that, the seller can ask the buyer to pay in whatever currency they want. So for example if the seller is in the UK and buyer USA, the buyer selects to pay for the dress in £'s and they pay any conversion fee at their end. The seller will receive the amount in £'s less paypal's fees. I am not 100% sure but the buyer can possibly select to also pay the paypal fee, but maybe not. If the buyer pays from a paypal balance or transfers the money from their bank account, I don't think there is a fee. If they pay by credit card, the fee is around 3%. Hope that helps.
