Subject: Does anyone ever take the time to time to think about dancers who are just simply ignored

Does anyone ever take the time to think about the dancers that turn up to every class pay they’re money get up everytime they are called but maybe hang at the back as they are not deemed good enough. Cheer on everyone else in the class but not everyone cheers them. Whenever there is a ceili team, display or show the dancer isn’t even considered because winning is more important than being inclusive. People are enough so quick to slag champions and call dancers for things they some may think they don’t deserve and everyone crowds around that dancer to offer them support but the dancer who really needs support and encouraged is the dancer who often left on their own. I really feel for that dancer and we often need to remember there should be a place in Irish dancing for everyone

This happens no doubt but often times too these dancers feel they’re being hard done by when in fact there’s a difference in work ethic. They could be good enough but don’t give their all (NT) -- Two sides, 29/04/24 0:30:00, Mon

We had the opposite. Champion dancer who worked 7 days a week at class and home to get to the top. Others in class openly..more.. -- No name, 29/04/24 1:11:15, Mon
