Trains are no longer reliable as on strike so often so I’d void staying further afield. Unlike New York, where air BNb is rightfully banned for entire property letting, London still allows it and it has taken 1000s of homes off the market for long term renters. So yes, it’s legal, but like farting in an elevator, very unpleasant for those in close proximity.
