From my recollection, when it is a fixed panel, overall high and low scores are dropped. I.e., with a 5-judge fixed panel dropping high and low scores, the maximum score is 300. If it is a rotating panel of 5 judges dropping high and low scores, maximum score is 900.

I suppose they could change how they drop high/low with a fixed panel, but doing it the old way just gives cheats more power so it will be interesting to see what CLRG does.
