Subject: The rate of pay if you do get into Riverdance is so bad that you basically leave it with nothing.
In reply to: Thank you 's message, "Is Riverdance summer school worth the cost? My DD wants to go to Dublin next year for it. Interested to hear opinions. She will be 16" on 11/08/24 20:47:32, Sun

From my own experience, my salary I spent while travelling just trying to experience the places visited. It’s not much more than minimum wage at home. Some dancers are lucky to come from wealthy families or have much better rates of pay, some earning a good living from social media activity and endorsements, but if you don’t have this, you’re basically trying to keep up with them and spending everything you earn so realising you have nothing when you finish. If I had known this, I would have made different decisions. Save your money as only those with connections will make it and get chosen but Summer Scholl is littered with those just there to pat the bills.
