Subject: There is not one second of material on the TCRG test that has ANYTHING to do about creating Choreography.
In reply to: It's just another way of squeezing money out of parents. Enough is enough. 's message, "If a teacher has passed it's TCRG exams there should be no need for outside teachers to come in to "help" a school." on 17/09/24 10:05:09, Tue

Many Candidates dance their school steps, or someone else's steps for the TCRG exam (which is perfectly within the rules).

Kuddos to teachers who can recognize that Choreography, or conditioning or stage presence (or WHATEVER) is not that strong point, and bring in someone to enhance their school in that area. It is completely common in every other dance form.

If you feel strongly that you want a teacher that does EVERYTHING WELL then shop around and find a school that does it that way... but my guess is that kind of TCRG might be few and far between.

Keep in mind there is a difference between Decent, Good and Great Choreography. Be careful what you wish for and choose.
