Subject: New to this thread. I'd like to ignore your childish, petulant tone and address your false assertion that "without CLRG there are no competitions".
In reply to: Seriously - are you that stupid? More inside 's message, "Oh good lord ... if you think changing a few points in the 100 point system is going to revitalize CLRG, then you deserve the ignorance you have." on 18/12/24 5:23:58, Wed

There are.

Without CLRG, there is no All Ireland Championship and no World Championship - as we know it. That's it. They're the only competitions organised directly by CLRG.

All other competitions adhere to CLRG rules, but if CLRG ceased to exist they could still run. They could choose to stick with the same rules or they could make their own. This goes for everything from your local confined feis all the way up to the NAIDC. All of them could continue. As we saw earlier this year, people are not willing to let kids miss out on more years of competing following the pandemic and they will do all they can to keep competitions running even if there's no Worlds and no ultimate governing body (although of course, you have to wonder whether that comes from a true concern 'for the kids' or just a desire to keep parents paying for their kids' classes).

If CLRG as we know it ceased to exist, something would fill the void. It'd take a while, probably a few years, to iron out the technicalities but in the meantime, competitions would continue. And, one would hope, they'd eventually have what the other poster called for - standardisation of grades worldwide, and a revamped points system.
