Subject: What exactly counts as a false start? Watching Boys U12 Round 1, convince me 2nd place dancer didn't start early

The worlds syllabus doesn't state exactly what a false start is, only that "Competitors beginning to dance before or after the stipulated 8-bar introduction will automatically receive ZERO marks and ZERO points from all adjudicators for that round."

When counting bars, 7-2-3 and 8-2-3, Boys U12 Round 1, 2nd place dancer moved forward off the starting mark on 8-2.

I've searched CLRG's website for a specific explanation of false start but can only find one for another organization.

What does your school teach is a false start? At our school we are taught to wait until the full 8-2-3.
