Spectators and competitors alike were left reeling—and not in the traditional sense—after the announcement of the senior championship results sparked audible gasps, tearful outbursts, and even a dramatic walkout that left judges visibly shaken and organizers scrambling for control.

“I’ve never seen anything like it in my 17 years of feiseanna,” said one stunned parent, clutching a crumpled score sheet. “People were screaming. One mammy dropped her program and shouted, ‘This is a disgrace!’ right in front of the stage.”
