The UK/Irish nationals are always bigger when they act as the tertiary qualifier. It acts as an insurance policy for top non-WMH in case of a bad performance or injury/illness around the time of regionals.

The poster above is correct that most dancers will have a much easier WQ at their regionals. Some regionals last year had a majority or even all dancers in some age groups qualify.
