She snorted and pinned both ears against her skull at his taunting remark. Are you so insecure, that you have to challenge my pack? An edge of temper ran beneath the remark, however innocent and teasing it was in tone. She paused at his comment about scent, and pulled a lip back in answer, revealing sharp, white teeth. Not sure just yet... Which is why we're following it. She wasn't entirely sure why she was allowing Craig on this hunt, since that's what it was turning into. But it doesn't belong down here... at least not in these tunnels. She started off again, breaking into a lope and moving swiftly through the darkness, nose guiding her deeper into tunnels that carried not even her scent. She made a few sudden turns, her nails screeching against the cement with the sudden changes of direction as she shot down other tunnels. The scent was stronger, her hunt instinct was on high drive, propelling her forward. And then... suddenly, it was gone. She skidded to a halt, nose working furiously as she tried to figure out where the scent had dissapeared to. An unhappy growl rose from her chest, her ears pinned back against her skull. She blinked, registering the faint light giving her some site. Where was it coming from? She looked around, nothing, and then looked up, and narrowed her eyes. 200, maybe 250 feet above them was the source of light, a man hole. She snarled viciously, and shook her head sneezing to get the rest of the scent out of her nasal passages. She glanced over her shoulder, looking to see if Craig had followed.
