I don't like either of those options.

I think it should be:
1st emergency comes in, if the team can be shuffled. Eg: another ruckman is named on the bench or FP. Then the 1st emergency score counts.
If it can't be shuffled, and another emergency named is a ruckman, then that emergency comes in.
If no other ruckman are emergencies, 1st emergency comes in and gets 50 points taken off his score. Isn't that the rules of a player is played it is position?

Also a side note. Because of Thursday night games, and we don't know who is going to play unlike AFL coaches, we should be able to make as many emergencies as we can to be able to bring in required players.
