It was with a quiet thoughtful expression that she listened. She noted her mistake in thinking him a new comer to the city but his comment was nice and so her smile spread like wild fire upon her unpainted lips. She tugged the white shirt down a bit and rubbed the hem thoughtfully. "Well, there are several places we could go." Now that he had accepted the offer she was laden with the responsibility of showing him a good time. She was eager to spend time with him but didn't have much experience in this type of event. Her eyes, river blue, studied the work her hands were making with the white shirt.

"I'm hungry." She stated it softly probing the idea of a meal to gauge his reaction. The words left her tongue and traveled past ivory teeth and her eyes snapped to his face to study his reaction.

She watched his shrunken form and the absent minded way he moved and breathed. It was nice being with someone close to her age and it was exciting to get a chance to explore with someone else. There was safety in numbers, right? Well- unless it's an airborne contagious deadly virus.
