This tension would never leave... it was the strength of an alpha, the responsibility. Some would mistake her for a weak alpha, mistaking her calm demeanor. Her wolf stared out from deep within, taking the fox's measure, scenting her submissive nature. Lyla's posture pleased the wolf within Verda, and she settled in, no threat of rushing to the fore front to establish her dominance. The civilized, human side of Verda offered her hand to the woman, a slight smile tilting the corners of her lips. This time, when she spoke, she used her vocal cords, and not the voice in her mind. "If you can prove your loyalty to the pack, and the alpha... then i don't see a problem" she hadn't named herself alpha for a few reasons... she wasn't sure of this fox, and she didn't want to give away her position so soon.
