 He had unfolded his menu and propped the bottom edge on the tan table's glossy surface. He listened to Alicia with a slight smile on his lips. He ordered a coke for himself and let the waiter take the rest. His eyes scanned down the listing of food, categorized by courses. It was a simple place with a limited selection. He read the description of the hamburger with satisfaction. Yep. That's what he was having. He spared a glance over the top of the menu to Ashena. He wanted to make sure she felt at ease with them. His eyes then drifted to Alicia and his hand moved under the table to rest on her leg. He gave a gentle squeeze. He needed her to fill comfortable too. Ashena and Zeth worked together and Alicia needed to trust them to be professional. Zeth had picked up the talent of modeling photography on his extended absence and had taken it as a profession. It paid well and he liked that best. He was well known overseas and his photographs were subject of much controversy. He was known for doing nude women in a less glamorous way. The imperfections he captured were realistic. His latest series showed beautiful women beaten and bruised.

"So, Ashena, did you get those photos I took off to the modeling agency?" Polite conversation was always hardest.
