Subject: Getting old

Have not posted for some time but still been reading site. Having worn corsetry since the late 1950s have had to make a difficult choice. Now old and not as flexible as I once was have had to give up the struggle to fasten my back suspenders (garters to our colonial cousins in USA). It was quite a wrench cutting them off a favourite Twilfit made corset. Several others may suffer the same fate. The one Rago 1294 I have avoided surgery, they were so poorly sewn on that they tore off in weeks of use. Serves me right for not sticking with rigid corsetry. Has any of the more senior members got the same problem or can anyone suggest a less drastic solution???
