I was delivering some sample of it to one of my regular clients. He called me back to his office and chatted with me and said you look like you under the weather today. He said let me look at you. he placed me in a room and had the Jim the nurse get a set of vitals. I was running a fever of 102.6. He told Jim to give me a couple of tylenol. I had been having a couhg for week and some sinus stuffiness. I got a chest x-ray and he said you have a good case of bronchitis. He said Jim give her an injection of her drug if you would and left the room. I am 24 and my heart skipped a few beats. I said is this really necessary. Do you beleive in your medicine? I knew it was going in my butt and that Jim was going to give me the shot. He drew up 3cc's mixing it with lidocaine which I was thankful for. he said okay Amanada you know it goes in your butt. I climbed up on the exam table and pulled up my dress above my waist and laid down. He pulled down my hose to my thighs. You have a cute little bottom he said as he pulled down my panties. I have not had a shot with lidocaine to compare, but I have asked a lot of people who got Rocephin at a doc's office and they said it was diluted with sterile water, too. I know most hospitals use lidocaine though. On a nurse blog someone said that an ER doc tells them not to use lidocaine because it burns worse than the sterile water alone. We had to go to another place for a tetanus shot & then wait for the shot reaction time window.
