Kids today don't know how lucky they are. I know they get more shots than we did. I was born in 1941. we all had at least one smallpox vacination scar. the shots hurt a lot.the old doc I had to go to even sharped the needle he used.they were big 18-20 gauge. 18 for the butt, 20 for the arm. when you got a shot from him, it took forever. He was old and shakey. he pushed the needle in slow then took for ever to inject what ever he was putting into you.
I think the reaction to the vaccine we got was worse than what it is today.
anyone have a comment as to how they were treated at the doc?
