Author: Jysulehn and Zrego
Subject: Aherm...
In reply to: Rachedith and Adi 's message, "Only to punish a fool *I'm also not small, by the by*" on 22:28:45 04/28/03 Mon

Jysulehn listens silently to Rachedith's and Adi's words... then patiently leans back on her haunches to back down after Rachedith has, and for a long moment of silence quite uncharacteristic of the sterotype of her coloration... she thinks; only turning once from her ponderings to give Zrego a look as he starts to (OOC: seemingly randomly) crack up over Adi's last comment (OOC: which went unheard to Jysulehn, as Zrego's red aunt's hearing skills haven't had to be quite as refined as the often hunted Zrego... *the writer grins* Forgive my comments... I'm amused by my inner striped at the moment... XD)

When the red's gaze raises again, there is no anger... merely apology in her look. Her tail lowers to the point of being held barely above the ground, and yellow eyes fall dim. "From your daughter's strong words I see that I was wrong in my verbal attack. Adi my apology for insulting the mother who has so obviously defended you... and Rachedith, my apology for insulting one who... in a way... seems to be quite a bit like myself if you'll excuse the comparison."

Jysulehn coughs once.

"My mate and the aforementioned tan cub died to protect this scruff over here... So I can understand how, hard that would be for you.... I've lived it."

Zrego looks up after a few seconds, blinking once in confusion and raising a paw in protest for being called a 'scruff'... "Hey, wait just a pelash..!"

"HOWEVER," Jysulehn continues with a start... and Zrego subsides, grumbling to himself about Aunt's who show up without warning and suddenly start acting like a mother.
"You seem to... share those morals as well, perhaps... expressing them differently. You shouldn't threaten your cub for commiting a crime that was no fault of any but cretts she's never met... but, I suppose... it's your own way of discipline and as your cub respects you so, obviously helpful in ways that have I perhaps have missed in my own experiences as a mother. But mother you are, and a soul you most certainly have, so, my apology is yours as well..."

Jysulehn nods her head once, but lifts her gaze to the massive white pack-second for a long moment... then flicks her ear once to the wind. "Perhaps this pack will be good for you Rachedith, Erashun... And I apologize mri'qua for involving you if you did not wish to be involved... Erashun has a way with words... and he could probably help you to see the good behind a striped flank. Improve... the emotional relations... so to speak... though.." And here the red's gaze falls approvingly to Adi, "The loyalty has been formed with a bond of great strength..."

Zrego shakes his head at this point... and takes his turn to step in... settling himself next to Adi once again, and merely offering a nod and a grin, along with a gentle practice of mental prowess... and a friendly comment. Old female relatives... what'll we ever do with 'em, eh?
