The mute merely gapes a moment, his tailblade instinctively curving around infront of him, as if to fend off the power that now seemed to radiate from the higher-ranked Atumi. White eyes flash in something akin to fear.
Zrego's eyes slant in disbelief then his head flicks to the fear-stricken Akar at the scent of his shock. He tilts his blade so a little sunlight flashes into the silent Korat's wide eyes, then looks back at Atumi, offering the Alpha only a nod in acceptance of the reading, energy, and challenges to come.
Akar blinks in the light and is brought back to reality... swiftly closing his jaws, and taking painful care to look considerably braver then before.
Kajinu however seems to distance herself mentally from all that occurs before her. Her eyes mist over in the recieving of a mental message and her tailblade smacks against the ground in anger.
All training is forgotten. The telepath was her brother. Surrounded by raptors, his voice was filled with pain and fear. She would help him. She MUST go to him.
Turning to Atumi she meets his gaze evenly, forcing herself to ignore the strong gaze and obvious fact that he could easily and would most likely kill her for a wrong word... if not the fact that she must leave.

"Atumi. My brother has just made contact with me. He is surrounded by Raptors, and I can sense his pain. I will go to him, and hope I may go with your approval. I would not like to die fighting you to fight the beasts that attack my kindred... but would, and will... if necessary."

Akar stared at Kajinu, incredulous. Zrego merely waited, and pited the striped if Atumi should not agree to her request.
