Subject: I completely agree with everyone thing you said here. I've often wondered why we have to be so particular with who we choose as local judges, when at the national level they don't even have the required number and often their choices are questionable. There is no way, no way, I would sit through a preliminary night of 52 talents, one after another. Same goes with having all of the other preliminary categories on one night. I don't understand why they can't go back to having 3 nights of preliminary competition, with the teen preliminaries during the day, with a different set of judges. The final teen competiton could be the next day and the final Miss competiton the day after that.

In reply to: 's message, "#1 Having your personal friends judge is completely unacceptable. #2 It's also inappropriate for Robin to expect the pageant community to just trust that she's not influencing those 3 friends in who to pick, or NOT pick. With her dictatorial behavior to the EDs, it's not unreasonable to expect she would blackball a contestant/ state. A 'there will be payback' attitude has no place in a fair pageants.
#3 Placement matters, maybe not so much for the winners, but for finalists & semi-finalists. The one-day marathon interview session is unfair to the girls earlier in the lineup. It exhausts the judges and is naturally difficult to distinguish between 52 contestants, all in a row.
That also goes for #3, the marathon talent expo. All of these subtly affect scores and they add up. These actions show Robin has no interest in even the *appearance* of conducting a fair pageant.

I remember when I first read that the only scholarships awarded this ear would be to the Top 5. I really didn't pay it that much attention because I thought surely State EDs would not stand for that. I would have thought the whole pageant would have just imploded. But no, everyone just got in line with the new victim. It's kind of like sheep being led to the slaughter. (NT)No name
