There seems to be a real effort here to make this a thing.. Allison's vanity project is not yet significant. What does the winner do? Does she make appearances? Do they have national partnerships? what would be the attraction? (NT) | No name (NoHost/146.70.198.120) | 10:51:45 10/12/24 Sat |

I feel like within the pageant world, the MVA women are being treated better and are being given a better national pageant experience than the current MAO girls. MAO has history and brand awareness that MVA will never achieve, but it's pretty clear that those girls are having more fun. Two contestants competed in my state. Really a joke. (NT) | No name (h107.240.22.98.dynamic.ip.windstream.net/98.22.240.107) | 14:57:46 10/12/24 Sat |

And I think the scholarship for the Miss winner is either 50K or 60K-compareable to what MAO would get in the old days (NT) | No name (syn-035-150-243-200.res.spectrum.com/35.150.243.200) | 20:16:45 10/12/24 Sat |

I went and watched the national pageant and was blown away. The production was amazing and the live band/orchestra was very nostalgic to see. The quality of girls was just as good as Miss America. I follow the titleholder on social and she has appearances constantly and appears to be having a good time. I plan to get involved at my state pageant. I’m am glad I decided to attend with a friend this year who was cheering on a family friend. I was a long time donor and volunteer with Miss America but quit a few years back. I will start small but looking forward ti getting involved with this system. (NT) | No name (syn-076-033-145-137.res.spectrum.com/76.33.145.137) | 06:11:23 10/15/24 Tue |

Volunteer provides scholarships at the national level and MAO under Robin haven't given out a dime. Any questions? (NT) | ureka smoke (ip98-169-99-148.dc.dc.cox.net/98.169.99.148) | 08:57:34 10/15/24 Tue |

I am not a Volunteer fan, and here’s why. As you know, Allison was the director of Tennessee MAO for many years. It’s widely known that she prefers the platinum blondes as titleholders but is tolerant of the brunettes. Girls of other races have a very hard time in her pageants. She has never crowned a Miss winner that is African American, either at Tennessee or at the national Volunteer level. If you take a look at the Q and A for last year’s Volunteer, it was the most robotic thing I had ever seen. I felt the Top 5 were all processed pageant patties and their answers to the questions were so programmed and rehearsed. Allison highlights the parts of Miss America that I always cringed at and wanted a “real” and relatable girls. (NT) | No name (NoHost/107.115.163.124) | 13:19:10 10/15/24 Tue |
- Then you seem to be in the right place for you. But I don’t think it takes away from what appeals to others. Miss America 2.0 was definitely real girls -- No one, 15:13:43 10/15/24 Tue (NoHost/172.56.33.227)

- The national teen from 2 years ago was mix, I think black and Asian. (NT) -- No name, 07:33:57 10/17/24 Thu (68-249-239-122.lightspeed.okcbok.sbcglobal.net/68.249.239.122)
- The first MVA pagent I watched had a black teen winner and a burnett Miss winner? I can't remember the year. But also have seen another Miss winner that was black or a (woman of color) can't recall that year, I also believe last years Miss was Black. Actually, now that I think about it, not many winners have been been blonde. Shame on you for lying and spreading dangerous falsehoods! You're are making accusations that are scandalous and libel! - I disagree slightly on the Top 5. While a majority were plastic, NY and PA were very authentic IMO. NY was the opposite of programmed when watching it, especially in her onstage question. The unfortunate reality is the real and relatable girls like NY and PA get pushed under the rug by the games and handpicking of titleholders at a national level at Vol. (NT) -- No name, 14:31:02 11/15/24 Fri (pool-72-93-224-161.bstnma.fios.verizon.net/72.93.224.161)

Volunteer won't be considered a real pageant until there are real contestants from each state. Right now, 20% are coming from Tennessee. The lose their state title and take an 'at-large' title to go to the national pageant. Miss Teen Volunteer America was 3rd runner up at Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer, took an at large title for Miss Maryland Teen Volunteer because there is no pageant there, and won the national title. Conversation to get an at-large Volunteer state title: Board: Do you know where Montana is? Contestant: I think I looked at it on a map once. Board: Congratulations! You're Miss Montana Volunteer. You owe us $$$$ to compete. Where should we send the invoice? It's a joke. They want their winners near Tennessee or families who have $$$$$$. If this isn't you, don't bother competing in Volunteer. CA MAO isn't the best, but it's better than this. Why do you think there has been a large turnover of directors? There is no honestly run pageant that exists anymore. | No name (NoHost/107.155.57.214) | 09:07:06 10/16/24 Wed |

Are there scholarship monies actually PAID in the Volunteer System? What does Miss America currently pay. Does anyone even KNOW? (NT) | No name (136-32-197-127.googlefiber.net/136.32.197.127) | 21:51:42 10/17/24 Thu |

Strongly disagree. In the entire state of Texas the Volunteer Pageant managed to recruit a total of 5 Miss Contestants. Most locals in the State of Texas have double this. What happened? (NT) | No name (NoHost/12.14.8.67) | 15:42:50 11/15/24 Fri |
