This is just ugly. I question the thought process of Ms. Vespico continually posting that her daughter did not send the texts. Not only does it keep moving this string up to the top, nobody is buying it. I don't care about anything but one fact, is there an actual record in a court of law of a restraining order? If there is one in place, it should be a no-brainer that Victoria should receive either a suspension from competing, or an outright ban.
If so, Ms. Vespico's daughter should not be competing. As far as her employment with the Girl Scouts? That is between the organization and their employee and should not be discussed here. I would question the wisdom of having a protective order recipient working around impressionable young people, but perhaps they have other information that we do not have.
I really think that the safety of the younger participants in the program should be a concern. Ms. Vespico has not aged out yet, and so she keeps competing for the state title by winning the crown in a shaky local organization. . Without delving into the very substantive laundry list of reasons why she'll never advance further on merit, it's impossible to see why Ms. Vespico is putting herself, her mother (and all of us) through more of this tacky drama.
