Subject: I agree. The last local I attended had 3 contestants, a page that you scanned in your phone served as the program book, and a 25.00 ticket price to watch 3 girls compete. The rest of the evening was nothing but kid production numbers (if I wanted to see that, I could get my own kid to put on a show in the living room.) In addition to the paltry shows, locals do not serve a purpose anymore. Every local in my state is open to at least 25 counties, even if it is "closed." Plus, contestants are released right after State, so there is no community involvement in a town they are not from anyway.
